Pedestal table in gilded bronze with an upper top in white marble, supported by three feet, each made of three rods imitating bamboo which end in a spinning top foot, the feet are linked together by a spacer decorated with a central pellet. The veined white marble top is surrounded by a gallery. Under the gallery is an iron band decorated with crosses and rosettes. Above each of the three feet is a rosette in a square frame. ,

This pedestal table is in the spirit of a piece of furniture by Adam Weisweiler (1744-1820) but was made around 1950. At the end of the 19th century, such high quality furniture was, among others, produced by Maison Jansen which was inspired by old French models.
